What's in a Nihil Zero box

Each box holds 30 packs of 5 cards, so 150 cards. A sealed box with intact factory film is the easiest way to know it hasn't been searched. See how to spot a fake or resealed box.

Nothing in a Japanese box is officially guaranteed, but sealed boxes follow a strong pattern. See below.

What's guaranteed in a box

Sealed Japanese boxes follow a strong pattern: 1 Super Rare or better, 1 Item, Tool or Stadium Super Rare, 3 Art Rares and 2 Double Rares. It applies to factory-sealed full boxes only. Loose packs and resealed boxes don't follow it, and it isn't an official promise: The Pokémon Company prints only the box setup and that cards are inserted randomly. The pattern doesn't say which hit you get. Nihil Zero has fewer Double Rare types than most MEGA sets, so expect about 2. English Perfect Order boxes have no box guarantee. Every English pack is random.
